Chloe Hosking inspired by lost brother-in-law
Nothing will bring back Lachlan Smith, but Canberra cyclist Chloe Hosking is hoping she can use his memory to make a difference for other young people suffering from rare forms of cancer.
Hosking will contest Saturday’s national road titles in Ballarat riding a bike bearing the sticker ”i ride 4 LACHIE”. It’s in memory of her brother-in-law, who died from cancer in October.
Smith was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma when he was just 19, but Hosking says he was determined to ”live his life to the fullest”.
After five years in remission, the cancer returned. read more…
